Thinking Water Infrastructure Development

On 27th April, 2015, Construction Kaiser Limited was at the event, Business Opportunities for Nigeria and Germany in the Infrastructure Sector, organized by Naijalink, German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and German Mittelstand at the Eko Hotel, Lagos State.

Construction Kaiser Limited was represented by her Vice Chairman/CEO, Engr Igbuan E. Okaisabor during the delegate panel discussion on the need for strategic investment in the Lagos State Water and Wasterwater Infrastructure. The discussion forum was moderated by Jeen Kootstra of RoyalHaskoningDHV.

The event recorded the attendance of German business delegation and other infrastructure development companies in Nigeria. At the event, the Lagos Water Supply & Wastewater Master Plan was presented by the Duo of Engr Deji Johnson (Executive Director – Lagos State Water Corporation) and Engr N. O Shodeinde of the Lagos Wastewater Management office.

Engr I.E Okaisabor concluded that the need for Foreign Direct Investment in the Water Infrastructure was a no-brainer and that investors and players in the infrastructure segment (including CKL) should be ready to co-operate with the aim to help solve the social problem currently being witnessed in the Water Sector in Lagos and Nigeria in general.
